Jen, Owner of A Little Knitty
Hi! My name is Jen and I'm the dreamer behind A Little Knitty Yarn Shop. I love everything about yarn and being an entrepreneur...so it's not shocking I dreamed of building a yarn shop! I'm a lifelong Washingtonian (despite the fact that I was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin but only lived there 3 months...so it doesn't count). My grandmother taught me how to knit when I was 12 and I made some really ugly things for many years, but I was SOOOO proud of them! When my son was born in 2008, knitting became a daily obsession...that's when I say I became a Knitter with a capital K!! I love sharing my passion for yarn and empowering others to tackle anything they want to make!
A Little Knitty Yarn Shop began in Downtown Auburn, Washington in 2016 and moved to Milton, Washington in 2024. When I'm not knitting/crocheting/dreaming up new things for the business, you can find me off on adventures with my family (with yarn in tow!). I have a strange affinity for cake decorating videos (despite the fact that I cannot bake to save my life) and I love Thai food!
