Heather began her travel agency with her daughter LilliAnn after a simple girls' trip showed her the power of travel to not only relax stress, but also deepen relationships. She has hosted tour groups in Europe and the UK, specializing in culinary travel for women.

In 2024, Heather was featured on season 12 of The Blox, an entrepreneurial competition. That experience introduced her to a new community of business owners and she discovered that many of them hoped to offer retreats or other custom travel as part of their business plans. While they were experts in their own fields, they felt overwhelmed at the idea of planning and managing trips, making it hard for them to move forward with their dreams. The Travel Bug Girls for Business was born.
